Your Pathway to the Nations
World Outreach International has programmes designed to help prospective missionaries find their calling and navigate the challenging path from home to mission field. Once they are there, WOI works to help them flourish in their ministry.
Whether you wish to join an existing ministry, start a new ministry, or become part of a pioneering Alpha Mission Team, WOI offers components to make up the ideal pathway for you.
For example, if you wanted to launch your missionary career by being part of an Alpha Mission Team, your pathway could look like the diagram below. A missionary who follows such a pathway will be well prepared for a lifetime of cross-cultural ministry.

Mentor – Assist – Prepare
6 – 18 months
Be mentored by an experienced missionary through the Mentor-Assist-Prepare (MAP) programme. Some of WOI’s experienced missionaries are making time available to mentor prospective missionaries on their journey to the mission field. It is a great opportunity to have such a person as a sounding board. Their role is to help you, not to direct you.
MAP Mentors are experienced missionaries who are passionate about helping people like you fulfil God’s call on their lives, especially if you are called to take the Gospel to people who have not yet heard.I WANT TO KNOW MORE

Alpha Mission Teams
Would you too like to make Jesus known in places where people have never had the opportunity to hear of him? Would you like to be well-equipped to do so?
An Alpha Mission Team is a practical two-year missionary training programme for single people and families. These small teams of missionaries go and live amongst people who have never heard the Gospel for a period of two years. The objective of each team is starting what will eventually become a Church Planting Movement (CPM) among that people group.I WANT TO KNOW MORE
